As a seller, you may want to sign up for a PayPal account (either Premier, which is free or Business account sign up). To configure your PayPal account to work with BlueMelon, you need to log in to it.

1
After logging in, open "Profile and Settings" (in the upper menu under "Profile"):

(Please note that the location of the settings may depend on the country you access the page from.)

2
Choose "My Selling Tools" from the tabs. In there, click "Update" for the API access:

Depending on whether you already have an API key, you can either "Request API credentials" (3a) or "View API Signature" (3b).

If you are requesting your first API key, you need to choose the type of the certificate. To integrate PayPal into your BlueMelon account, you need to "Request API signature":

Afterwards, you will see a window like the one below. Click "Show" for "API Username", "API Password" and "Signature" (5). These data are confidential and generated automatically. You will receive a link to these credentials to your email as well.

Open your BlueMelon account in a new tab or window, open "Selling" >> "Dashboard" and go to the "Manage Processors" ("Payment processor:" category) at the very bottom of the page.

And copy+paste all data ("API Username", "API Password", "Signature") from your PayPal account to the respective fields in your BlueMelon account. All you need to do then is to "enable" the processor and "Save" your settings. The result may look like this:

You have just successfully configured PayPal to work with your BlueMelon account.

What can I do next?  You may want to review 2Checkout as an additional/alternative payment processor.
